amass /əmˈæs/ を取り上げます。文脈から、貯蔵するという意味になるのではないかと思いました。『ライトハウス英和辞典』（第5版 研究社）で調べると「（多くの金、情報など）を（少しずつ）集める、ためる、蓄積する」とありました。
LDOCEには “if you amass money, knowledge, information etc, you gradually collect a large amount of it” と定義されています。
