Jacet convention in Chiba

Four of the seminar members went to Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS) last Sunday. It is a bit far away from where we live but it was worthwhile going there.

One thing learned from the workshop by Dr. Tanabe was the importance of learning English actively. He let us in on the intricate details of how we went about actualizing Active Learning in class. Indeed, doing some activities in pairs was truly interesting in that I had a chance to talk with a student who is an exchange student from the mainland China.(Sixth-dan)
