throw a tantrum 復習
throw a tantrum です。ホストファミリーと3歳の息子さんについての話をしていたところ、ホストファザーが “When things don’t go his way, he always throws a tantrum” と言われました。
またCollins English Dictionaryで定義を調べると、 “If a child has a tantrum, they lose their temper in a noisy and uncontrolled way. If you say that an adult is throwing a tantrum, you are criticizing them for losing their temper and acting in a childish way.”
さらに、Thesaurus.comで類義語を探ると、throw a fit, throw a collective tantrum, throw a terrible or temper tantrum, go or fly into a tantrum とあります。 (bro-taro-world @ Calgary)
