取り上げるのは groundbreaking です。直訳すると地を破るという意味になりますが、どのような意味があるのか気になり調べました。rest of the world は「海外部門」(weblio)という意味なので飛び出して行くこと、進歩するいうような意味だと捉えました。(『ジーニアス英和辞典第五版』大修館)「起工の/独創的な、革新的な」という意味でした。この文章は日本から世界へ飛び出して行くということを表しているので“ground”がついたこの単語がぴったりであったために利用したと予想しました。(Creative)
