Futo-Mozuku and Aosa Tsukudani is a simmered seaweed dish created from local ingredients by the Fisheries Cooperative of Iheyajima island, located to the north of Okinawa Island.

気になった語は grouper / grúːpɚ / です。つづりは group 「群れ, 集団」+ -er 「…する人[もの]」となっていますが, ここでは魚を表しています。『リーダーズ英和中辞典』(研究社)で確認したところ, 「[魚]ハタ科のマハタ属・ヤスリハタ属などの大型食用魚」とありました。釣り人にとっては, なじみのある呼び方のようです。
続いてMerriam-Webster.comには “any of numerous fishes (family Serranidae and especially genera Epinephelus and Mycteroperca) that are typically large solitary bottom-dwelling fishes of warm seas and include import food fishes” と定義されていました。
多くの場合, 魚は「鮪」や「鱈」のように, 魚偏を伴い一字で示されますが, 「鰭 (はた)」は「魚のひれ」を指し, 厳密には「羽太 (はた)」となるとのことです(『広辞苑』第六版, 岩波書店)。(Cayu)
