Tour in Italy Day 1

I'm here in Italy! Yesterday, I went to Milano. Let me tell you about the places I visited.

First, I visited Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie. It is a church which is famous for “The Last Supper”. I saw the work and it greatly moved me. of course I have looked at it a lot on TV, but the real one has a different atmosphere. I did not have the knowledge of the art. However, the guide taught me and I learned a little bit about the art and the artist, Leonard da Vinci.

　　

I also went to Duomo. The church is the world heritage. I saw a lot of sculptures on the doors, walls, and roofs. I was not able to guess how long it took to build the building. I would like to check it after coming back to Japan. After watching the inside, I went up the stairs to the roof. It was tough to go up the stairs, but the view from there was just awesome!

　　

Today, I will go to Venice. I am reporting the trip there tomorrow. (Blue Sky)
