エジプトでテロによる大虐殺事件が起こりました。

brute forceを取り上げます。上記ではエジプト大統領シシ氏が大虐殺に対してbrute forceで対応すると言っていますがどのような力なのでしょうか。アニメのPopeyeでおなじみのbruteでしょうか。
　bruteを『ジーニアス英和辞典』て引くと「獣、畜生、動物」「（獣のように）冷酷［残酷］な人、人でなし; いやなやつ」の名詞の意味と、「獣のような、非情な; 残酷な、野蛮な」「肉欲的な、肉体だけの」の形容詞の意味を持つことが分かります。なのでbrute forceで「暴力」となります。上記では「武力」が好ましいかと思います。
またbrute-forceで「（頭を働かせず）腕力だのみの」と記載されていました。どちらにせよ武力で解決するのはよくないことですが、それしか方法はないのでしょうか。(Kiwi girl)
