Our penchant for smashed avo on sourdough is, of course, the reason none of us can afford to get on the property ladder.
Our love for the stone-filled fruit (yes, it is a fruit) has caused us to replace burger buns with avocado, drink coffee out of their shells, and invest in avocado pool floats while wearing swimming cossies that makes us look like the food itself.

『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）を引いたところ、「サワードウ」、「古参の炭鉱者」などと載っておりました。Oxford Dictionary of English(Second Edition Reserved, Oxford University Press)には、 "leaven for making bread, consisting of fermenting dough, originally that left over from a previous baking"などと書かれておりました。
サワードウはイーストの代わりにパン種として用いる発酵した練り粉のことだそうです。ちなみにdoughのみで生地という意味になります。(Gomez)
