取り上げるのは“eyeballs”です。

“eyeball”と単数形では文字通り「眼球」となりますが、複数形になることでまた異なったものをあらわします。
LDOCEでは“the number of people who see an advertisement on a particular website“と定義されており、「ウェブ上の訪問者数」となりますが、ここでは「テレビの視聴率」の言い換えとして使われていることがわかりました。

来年2月の平昌五輪は韓国のみ限定の国内協賛社として残るそうです。(flying bird)
