Hi all, it is a lovely sunshine day today here in Hamilton.

As I told you, I had to deal with a writing essay, a presentation and a reading test last week. One thing that drew my attention was the question style of the reading test. Unlike the one in Japan, the questions consisted of T(true), F (false) or NG (not given)!

My host mother really likes and supports Emirates Team New Zealand in the American Cup. The event is held once every four years and we are right in the high season for this national event of sailing. So she gets up at five o'clock in the morning and enjoys the race on TV. Toyota is also one of the supporters of the team. Also I understand a Japanese team joins the American Cup, but all members are Kiwi. I don't know why but it's funny.

Talking about my pronunciation, I hate to say this but it doesn't seem to have improved much, so much so I was mistaken twice(!) by my friends when I tried to say I'd like to try "surfing". They thought I wanted to go "shopping". Oh, no!

Have a nice week! (Awake)

Kiwi boys took us on a fishing tour in Raglan bay but no catch!

We looked at the bay through our legs--like what we do in Amano-Hashidate in Miyazu.
