hygee 復習
数年前から断捨離などが流行っておりますが、さらに新しい考え方がでてきているようです。

This is the opposite of the other recent exotic home trend: the Danish concept of “hygge” — creating a cozy space with rugs and candles and other things that make you feel warm.

Zen Buddhism and Shintoism taught her to think about what she needs right now and to get rid of impurities, she said. And then there’s Tao, the philosophy that considers the natural order of the universe.

今回はhygee (/ˈhʊɡə/ or /ˈh(j)uːɡə/) を取り上げます。
インターネット辞書Oxford Living Dictionariesによると、 “A quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture)”と定義されておりました。
以上から分かるようにデンマークと関係する単語のようです。

Sitting by the fire on a cold night, wearing a woolly jumper, while drinking mulled wine and stroking a dog - probably surrounded by candles. That's definitely "hygge".
