Tokyo ward video offers foreign appeal
The Suginami Ward Office has released an original promotional video featuring a Taiwan actress in an effort to convey the ward’s attractiveness to foreigners visiting Japan.
The about six-minute video features Koenji, a town bustling with shops and famous for its annual Awa-odori dance festival, its signature summer event.
Actress Yao Ai-ning, who also works in Japan, is cast as a tourist in the video, titled “Koenji: The Next Town Over.” Her fondness for the town grows as she visits a shrine, coffee shop, secondhand clothing store and other places with a Japanese friend.

“bustle”を取り上げます。『ウィズダム英和辞典』(第３版、三省堂)を引いたところ、「〈場所が〉«人・活気などに»あふれている«with»」とありました。また、LDOCEでは“to move around quickly, looking very busy”と定義されています。
“bustle”の第１義には「(忙しそうに)バタバタと動き回る；急ぐ」という意味があります。この意味から人が盛んに動き回って活気があるという意味が生まれたのだと思います。(Blue Sky)
