The deal has been arranged for senior citizens in Aichi Prefecture in a bid to reduce the number of traffic accidents on local roads. Oxford dictionaries.com.では“Soup consisting of meat or vegetables cooked in stock, sometimes thickened with barley or other cereals”と定義されていました。
ただの“soup”は“A liquid dish, typically savoury and made by boiling meat, fish, or vegetables etc. in stock or water”とあったので、ラーメンのような少しドロッとしている時に“broth”は使われるようです。
