東北地方に上陸した台風10号の被害は甚大で、11人が死亡し，3人が行方不明のままです。

In Iwaizumi, three residents were rescued by the country's Self Defense Forces after being stranded by flooding in the central part of the town that severed road access.

Around 350 people were isolated in Minamifurano in Hokkaido after the downtown area was inundated following the collapse of a levee of the Sorachi River. A levee of the Satsunai River in Obihiro also collapsed.

Since Tuesday, a total of 10 people have been reportedly injured in the four prefectures of Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi and Akita.

Typhoon Lionrock, the season's 10th typhoon, prompted municipalities in the Tohoku area to issue evacuation advisories to a total of around 410,000 people due to fears of landslides and high waves before blowing into the Sea of Japan on Tuesday evening.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, rainfall in Iwate and Hokkaido reached record levels in the last several days, with the town of Iwaizumi logging a downpour of 203.5 millimeters in a day, over the amount normally logged for one-month period in August in an average year.

したがってここでは、「北海道の南富良野町では、空知川の堤防が決壊したことにより町が浸水し、350人が孤立した」となります。
