Nishikori, Doi 3rd rd matches at Wimbledon postponed by rain
LONDON — Japan’s Kei Nishikori and Misaki Doi were again among dozens of players whose matches were postponed Friday as rainy weather continued at the All-England Club outside London on the fifth day of competition at Wimbledon.
Nishikori, who is recovering from an oblique injury suffered last week at a tournament in Germany, had an earlier reprieve when a rainout on Wednesday gave him an extra day of rest before defeating Julien Benneteau of France in the second round.
