Man Utd. game cancelled due to suspicious item
A suspicious item found at a soccer stadium in Britain shortly before kickoff in a Premier League match forced the cancellation of the game.
The item was discovered at the home stadium of Manchester United on Sunday, the final day of the Premier League season. Spectators near where the item was spotted were evacuated.
Local police worked together with the military to carry out a controlled explosion of the item. Police said it was an incredibly life-like explosive device, but was not viable.
