You have to respect the ability of the theme park to make lemons out of lemonade. Obviously, Disney’s extensive pantheon of beloved animated characters are out of the Osaka amusement park’s reach, since their images are reserved for use at Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. The other side of the coin, though, is that USJ (as Universal Studios Japan is also known) can theoretically create themed attractions based on just about any fictional characters that aren’t Disney properties.
"make lemons out of lemonade"という表現が気になりました。直訳すると「レモネードからレモンをつくる」という変わった表現になります。「英辞郎on the Web」では"make lemonade out of lemons"で「役に立たない物から役に立つ物を作り出す、良くない事態から良いことを見つける」という表現がありますが、ここでは逆になっています。
"lemon"は、以前先生の授業で「不完全な人(物)」という意味があることを教わりました。
