スイスは，フォルクスワーゲンの販売を一時的に禁止しました。ディーゼルエンジンの環境規制問題を受けての対応です。VWの自動車販売を行っているディーラーにとってはたまったものではないと思います。
記事の中で気になった表現は"leave no stone unturned"です。『Wisdom英和辞典第三版』（三省堂）によると「あらゆる手段を使う」という意味でした。SPACEALCには「石を一つ残らずひっくり返して調べる［探査する］」ともありました。ODには"Try every possible course of action in order to achieve something"と定義されております。語源を調べると，http://settembre.sapolog.com/e114381.htmlの中で，以下の様な説明がありました。
語源は非常に古く、紀元前477年も昔の故事による。ギリシャの将軍ポリクラテスがペルシャの将軍と戦って勝ったが、財宝の隠し場所が分からない。それで、難問題を解いてくれる所として有名なデルポイのアポロ神託所に行って「どこにあるか教えてくれ」と頼んだところ，"Leave no stone unturned."（すべての石を覆せ）と教えられた。そのとおりにしたところ、とうとう財宝を見つけたということである。そこから、何かを探すにあたってあらゆる努力、手段を尽くす、という意味で何百年も使われてきているわけである。

Volkswagen models sale halted in Switzerland
In a statement, it said vehicles that have 1.2-litre 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre diesel engines of VW models - including VW's Audi, Seat and Skoda brands - could be affected.
The ban does not apply to vehicles that are already in circulation or cars with Euro6 emission category engines.
The Swiss authorities have also set up a taskforce to fully investigate the issue.
After his appointment, Mr Mueller said restoring the company's reputation was his top priority.
"My most urgent task is to win back trust for the Volkswagen Group - by leaving no stone unturned and with maximum transparency, as well as drawing the right conclusions from the current situation."
