１９７２年５月１５日に沖縄が本土復帰をしたことを記念し、「５・１５平和行進」を行われました。

今回の記事で気になった単語は、”jurisdiction”です。『ジーニアス英和辞典第４版』（大修館書店）には、「司法権、裁判権、支配権、支配管轄、管轄区」と記載されていました。今回の記事では、「支配管轄」の意味で捉えてもいいと思いますが、「本土復帰」と捉えた方が分かりやすいと考えます。”Oxford Dictionaries”で調べてみると、このように載っていました。”The official power to make legal decisions and judgements” (Nao)
