１５日、茨城県で帰宅途中の男性が何者かに矢を撃たれ、右足に全治２週間のケガを負いました。ケガをした男性は「後ろから車が通り過ぎた後に激痛が走った」と話しています。

Ibaraki man shot with arrow in late night ambush

TORIDE, Ibaraki -- A 47-year-old man was shot in the calf with an arrow on his way home here early on the morning of April 15, police said.

The man was bicycling home when at about 1:50 a.m. someone appeared with what looked like a bow in hand and fired the 40.8 centimeter arrow into his calf. The injury is expected to take about two weeks to heal.

According to the Ibaraki Prefectural Police force, the victim made it back home on his bicycle, and his family then drove him to hospital. The man's wife called the police to report that he'd "come home after being shot with an arrow."

It was raining at the time of the incident, and the victim was holding an open umbrella as he rode down the sidewalk
