とりあげる表現はタイトルにある“basks in glow of”です。
ここの“bask”は「《喜び・恩恵・愛情などに》浸る、浴する《in》」という意味で使用されていますが、もともとは「（太陽の陽を）浴びる《in》」という意味合いがあります。（『Wisdom英和辞典第３版』三省堂）
glow ofをふまえると「〜の栄冠を浴びる」という表現になり、「プロ初勝利の栄冠を浴びる」といったニュアンスになるでしょうか。

Takagi tearfully basks in glow of 1st pro win
