take to
(Astroriver @ Formosa)
New York Today: Cloudy With a Chance of Uncertainty
When the National Weather Service took to Facebook to explain its botched prediction for snowfall in the city, it announced efforts to “more easily communicate” what it called “forecast uncertainty.”
We checked in with the weather service last night to see how that was going.
The meteorologist John Murray told us not that it would snow again tonight, but that “our chances for snow come back into the picture.”
In terms of timing, he said, “the highest chances” of snow are overnight and into the early hours of Friday.
We could get one inch, or two. “There’s a little bit of uncertainty, but this looks to be a light snowfall over all,” he said.
