イスラエル軍がガザの学校に砲撃しました。国連やアメリカの停戦要求も効果を発揮せず，ガザ地区の死傷者は800人を超えました。イスラエル軍は，先日ガザ地区の病院に対して攻撃したことと同じ理屈で学校を破壊しております。つまり，ハマスの武装勢力が学校に隠れているため攻撃を行うという理屈です。この主張を盾に，市民の存在などお構いなしに攻撃をしています。記事の中で気になった単語は"mourner"です。『Wisdom英和辞典第三版（三省堂）』によると「哀悼者，会葬者，悲しむ人，嘆く人」などという意味がありました。ODでは"A person who attends a funeral as a relative or friend of the dead person"というように，「会葬者」の意味が示されております。自体が沈静化する様子が全く見えないです。（Ume）

Funerals for at least 10 of those killed were held early on Friday.
Graphic images from Gaza showed mourners weeping as the body of a one-year-old boy was carried through the streets and lowered into a grave.
Palestinians blamed Israel, which insisted it did not target the shelter, saying Hamas militants were firing from the area.
