ＵＧ先生ご指名ありがとうございます。”measure”といえば「測定する，評価する」などを思い浮かべました。記事の見出しは森本総理の「失言（？）」に対して浅田選手が「森さんは（発言に対して）後悔していると思う」という”measured response”をするという流れに対するものです。

辞書の訳に従うのであれば「注意深い回答」（Wisdom英和辞典（第三版）』（三省堂））というものが近いのでしょうが日本語に違和感を覚えます。むしろＵＧ先生が書かれた「大人の対応」という方がしっくりきます。つまり”measured response”は十分に言葉を選んで適切な回答を行ったというニュアンスであると思います。このように言葉を選べることがまさに大人であると思いました。（Ｕｍｅ）
