trumpが気になりました。名詞では「切り札」でお馴染みの単語ですが文中では動詞の第二語義で「・・・よりも勝る；＜人＞を負かす」（『ジーニアス英和辞典 第３版』大修館）となります。念のためCollins English Dictionaryも当たってみますと’ to outdo or surpass’と載っていました。(Shou-VR*)
