Abe: I got message across to the world
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe says he was able to convey to the world his resolve to make Japan a proactive contributor to peace, playing a more active role in ensuring stability and prosperity.
Abe spoke to reporters in New York after he delivered an address before the UN General Assembly on Thursday.
He said proactive pacifism should be the signature phrase for Japan for this century. He said he expressed his resolve for the concept and he also began action.
