（発表要旨）
The world is changing quickly. Educators need to understand how the changes affect their teaching and students. In the past few years, there is resurgence in the importance of English language teaching and learning. In the presentation, we will explore how one company has introduced English language learning targets and its effect on its employees. In addition, we will examine and discuss how educators need to take a more active role in helping their students become better prepared for the challenges of the 21st Century.

（発表者略歴）
Joined Rakuten, Inc. in 2001, and currently, manager of Englishnization One Team. Prior to Rakuten, he worked at GEOS Corporation from 1991 to 2001 as an EFL instructor, materials writer, and curriculum designer and teacher trainer. He holds an MSc in Financial Economics and a MA in Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language.
