brandingはa practice which involves a company giving a group of their products the same brand name, helping this name to become well-known（LDOCE）とあるように，企業が行う販売戦略，いわゆる「ブランド化」を指します。よってそれを個人レベルで行うのがpersonal brandingというわけです。
ちなみに，ゼミ生が多用する「英辞郎on the WEB」にはpersonal brandingが載っており「ある個人のイメージを「ブランド」として確立し、ビジネスを展開すること」と説明がしてありました。（Koyamamoto）
