競馬で「オッズ」という言葉を聞いたことがありますが、ここでのoddsもその意味があると思います。辞書で引いてみると、What're [What's] the odds?「<英略式>どうでもいいではないか（What does it matter?）」（『ジーニアス英和辞典 第4版』 大修館）という意味がありましたが、もう少し調べてみると、Wiktionaryには、" (idiomatic) Used to express surprise for an unlikely outcome."と書かれていました。この記事の中では後者の意味で、「すごい確率だと思いませんか？」あたりの意味になると思います。(Astroriver)
