silverwareはアメリカ英語では「銀器、食卓用銀製品(英ではcutlery)」という意味ですが、イギリス英語では「(賞品として)銀杯、銀盾」という意味(『ジーニアス英和辞典』第4版、大修館書店)があるそうです。LDOCEでは"a silver cup that a person or team wins in a sports competition"とありました。ここでは「値千金のシュート」といったニュアンスでしょうか。(EnDough)
