A man wanted for 11 years for allegedly murdering two people in Tokushima Prefecture died Friday under an alias in Okayama Prefecture and was only identified as the fugitive after a funeral service got suspicious.

Toshikazu Koike, 52, had been on the nationwide wanted list since May 2001 for allegedly murdering Masaru Matsuda, 66, in the city of Tokushima and the victim's son, Hirofumi, 38, in Hyogo Prefecture.
