今回採り上げるのはJetsons-era planです。しかし，残念ながら手持ちの辞書にJetsonsの文字は見あたりませんでした。そこでインターネットでJetsonsを検索してみるとThe Jetsons（邦題「宇宙家族ジェットソン」）という30世紀の宇宙を舞台としたアメリカのテレビアニメがヒットしました。よって，Jetsons-eraは30世紀のような「近未来」を比喩的に表現したものだということがわかります。また，planには「計画」の他に「設計図」（『プログレッシブ英和中辞典』小学館）という意味もあり，以上からJetsons-era planは「夢物語」や「空想上の技術」と解釈できるのではないでしょうか。（Koyamamoto）
