South Korean rapper Psy tops UK chart
Rapper Psy has become the first South Korean pop star to make it to the top of the UK singles chart with his song Gangnam Style. The track has become a global phenomenon and the video featuring his famous horse-riding dance is YouTube's most "liked" of all time.
It entered the top 40 at number 37 two weeks ago, jumping to number three last Sunday. Gangnam Style knocked The Script's Hall of Fame off top spot.

Chances are by now you'll either have seen, or know someone who has seen, the video for Psy's track Gangnam Style.
That's because since its release in mid-July it's been clicked on more than 220 million times. Right now, it's racking up an average of 10 million new views each day. It's a colourful, over-the-top, hilarious pastiche of commercial pop videos and sees Psy debut his, now internationally famous, "horse riding dance".
If the accompanying song continues its ascent, it could become the first ever K-Pop (Korean-pop) track to hit number one in UK chart history, says the official charts company.
