Eastern promise: Fergie pays personal check on Japan star Kagawa

Sir Alex Ferguson flew to Berlin yesterday to check out Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa.
The Japan international midfielder has been a key man in Dortmund’s pursuit of a league and cup double.
Last night, they were taking on Bayern Munich in the German Cup Final and Kagawa scored the opener.
Dortmund had already captured the Bundesliga title, finishing eight points clear of arch- rivals Bayern.
Kagawa, who has scored 15 goals this season, is expected to leave this summer in £7million deal.
The 23-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal and Dortmund are not prepared to lose him as a free agent in 2014.
