censure

20日の参院本会議で、前田武志国土交通相と田中直紀防衛相に対する問責決議が賛成多数で可決されました。決議には法的拘束力はなく、野田首相は両氏を続投させる意向ですが、こんなことやってる場合じゃないのに！というのが国民の共通の意識でしょう。
「問責」にあたるのは censure（名、動）（以前、取り上げたかな？）。これはラテン語から来た言葉で、judgementを意味します（"a judgment involving condemnation"---Webster）。言い換えるとofficial reprimandです。「検閲する」のcensorとも関係があります。（UG）
