昨日、ちょっと引いたかなという感じがしたので大事をとって午後７時には就寝。なのに今日は完全に鼻がつまり、咳とくしゃみがひどくなりました。観念して病院に直行。結果、のど風邪でした。今夜ももう寝ます。胃腸炎から風邪とダブルパンチでいいことない感じです。そのため予定していた山口への帰郷もとりやめ。KG先生、また元気になったら連絡しますね。

5 arrested for attack on Dragan Stojkovic's house

BELGRADE —
Police have arrested five people suspected of a grenade attack on the family house in Serbia of Dragan Stojkovic, the coach of Japanese team Nagoya Grampus and a former Red Star Belgrade and Marseille player.
  
Police said Friday the group includes prominent former football official Aca Bulic, who is suspected of organizing the attack. They say one suspect remains at large.
  
No one was injured in the hand grenade attack in February in the southern city of Nis, but it left a hole in the yard near the house. Stojkovic’s mother, Desanka Stojkovic, was inside.
  
Police did not say why Bulic allegedly organized the attack.



Red Star fans have accused Stojkovic of profiting from the sale of Red Star players while serving as the club’s president in 2005-07.

サッカーのJ1名古屋グランパスのストイコビッチ監督の実家に手りゅう弾が投げ込まれた事件で容疑者の男５人が逮捕されたそうです。記事にprominent former football officialという表現がありました。意味は「有名な/知られた/著名な〜元〜」でしょうが、famous former〜とは言わないかというと、これも結構使われます。
２つの差異はビミョウですが、prominentの方がdistinguishedという意味合いが強い感じがします。端的に言うと「大物」連中のときに用いられるようです。
ここまで書いてロイターを見ると、「容疑者の中には同国サッカーリーグの元会長が含まれている。同元会長は過去にベオグラードでリーグ１部のクラブを所有していたが、２００５年に別のクラブと合併。クラブは現在３部に所属している。」とありました。（UG）
