日本とUAEがサッカー男子オリンピック代表に決まりました。

stay true to〜は「〜に忠実であり続ける」という意味です。このstayは以前stay youngなどの形でブログでも取り上げています。trueはshowing respect and support for a particular person or belief in a way that does not change, even in different situationsと定義づけられており，ここから「状況に関係なく，やり通す」というニュアンスが強いことが伺えます（OXFORD Advanced Leaner’s Dictionary）。たとえmust-winな試合で焦る気持ちはあるけれども，というニュアンスが感じ取れます。
