注目したいのは，snap upです。文脈から判断すると，「売り切れる」と予想できます。辞書には，「〔特売品など〕を先を争って買う」（『ジーニアス英和辞典』第4版，大修館書店）とありました。snapを確認してみると，「〔機会などを〕すばやくつかむ，飛びつく」（同上）とありました。snapというと，スナップ写真や指をパッチンとすることを思い浮かべますがこんなものもあるのですね。例文には，snap up bargains「特売品に飛びつく」ともありました。
