crawlというと「〈人虫などが〉はう, はって行く」という意味がまず浮かびますが，その他にcrawl with~で「〈場所が〉（虫人などで）あふれている, いっぱいである」という意味もあります（『プログレッシブ英和中辞典』小学館）。
本文にthe euglena "contains all the nutrients essential for humans," including various vitamins, minerals, amino acids and unsaturated fatty acidsとあるように，ミドリムシは非常に栄養価が高く，またカステラ一切れに約2億2千万匹（One 2.5-cm-thick slice of the rectangular cake contains roughly 220 million euglena）含まれていることを，Crawling with healthは意味しています。
さらに（これは深読みかもしれませんが），記事のタイトルがCritter cake aimed at health nutsとなっていることから，Crawling with healthは健康のためならミドリムシにもとびつく「health nuts（健康マニア）であふれている」ということも意味しているのかもしれません。（院生 小山本）
