DY（09/11/10）のCOMENTARYにあったApple’s shuffleという記事から英語表現を拾っていきます。

ここではstonewallという単語を採り上げます。文字通り訳せば「石の壁」ですが，そこから転じて，動詞で「〈人議事などを〉意図的に妨害する」という意味があります（『プログレッシブ英和中辞典』小学館）。しかし，記事を読めばわかりますが，今回はこれとは別の意味で使われています。
辞書で調べてみるとstonewallには「返答［決定など］を意図的に避ける［引き延ばす］」という意味がありました。つまり，アンテナの不具合について，Appleが明確な回答を避けたことを指していることがわかります。（院生 小山本）
