What I learned in Tochigi

Dear Dr. Tanabe,

The lecture in S junior high school was a great experience. I was in charge of ten students and taught them how to look up a word in a dictionary, and enjoyed learning English vocab.

To start with, I witnessed that Dr. Tanabe kept the students awake from the start to the end of the lecture. I felt like they were always laughing when Dr. Tanabe taught cracked some jokes and were mesmerized with his talk. As such, they concentrated on the lecture for a long time. It is difficult for me to copy Dr. Tanabe's style but I will work hard to get to that level.

Like I mentioned at the outset, I taught about ten students. That was the first time for me. I was a little nervous but I enjoyed teaching to them. They were keen on whatever I gave them. I was very glad that they gave me a big hand when mine was over. That was indeed a good reward.

Finally, I found that there are many problems with me in order to become an English teacher. Therefore, I will solve those one by one until a teacher recruitment exam next year.

The lecture motivated me to work harder. Thank you for asking me out there.

Best regards,

KOH
