Soul-searching after taking a STEP

I took a STEP exam today. It was so difficult I didn't have enough time to answer some of the questions. I was not able to understand many words as a whole, so Part1 was a disaster. The Reading section had long passages, and some of the articles were beyond my schematic comprehension. I am not used to reading such types of paragraphs. The listening section also gave a headache. It took a while to understand.
Taking the exam made me realize that I must learn English hard way, and I need to push myself more!!!! (Mickie)
