rebootを取り上げます。『ジーニアス英和辞典』を引くと、「（システムが［を］）再起動する［させる］」とありました。LDOCEでは“if you reboot a computer, or if it reboots, you start it up again”と定義されています。コンピューター用語でそのままリブートというのでご存知の方も多いかと思いますが上記のように動詞としても使用できます。またパソコンや経済状況だけでなく“breathe and reboot yourself”のように使用することも可能です。
