6月に神奈川県大井町の東名高速で起きた死亡事故で、事故を引き起こしたとされる容疑者は過失運転致死傷と暴行の罪で逮捕されました。
Man held in road rage incident that left 2 dead on expressway
Police on Oct. 10 arrested a 25-year-old construction worker over an expressway accident sparked by road rage that led to the deaths of a married couple.
Kanagawa prefectural police accused Kazuho Ishibashi of Nakama, Fukuoka Prefecture, of assault and negligent driving resulting in death and injury in the incident on the Tomei Expressway on June 5, 2017.
Ishibashi, apparently enraged by an earlier run-in with the victims, blocked the path of a van that was rear-ended by a large truck, killing the driver and his wife and injuring the couple's two children.
According to sources, the incident had its roots in a spat between the suspect and the dead driver at a expressway rest area not far from the accident scene.
