Grande plans show for bombing victims
Pop star Ariana Grande promised Friday to return to Manchester to play a charity concert following a suicide attack at her show, as she urged fans to respond to the tragedy with love.
In her first substantive comments since Monday’s tragedy, the singer said she felt “uplift” by seeing fans’ compassion after the blast which killed 22 people and was claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group.
The 23-year-old, who suspended her tour and returned to her Florida home to rest, said she planned a concert as “an expression of love for Manchester.”
She said the concert would raise money for the victims of the attack and their families. The date has not yet been set.

vegan /víːg(ə)n/ を取り上げます。以前英検プリントに出てきましたが、『ライトハウス英和辞典』（第5版 研究社）によると「完全菜食主義者（牛乳、チーズ、卵もとらない）」と説明されています。これに対し、vegetarian /vèdʒəté(ə)riən/ は「菜食主義者（牛乳、チーズ、卵は食べる人もいる）、菜食（主義）の、（食事が）野菜だけの」とあり、牛乳やチーズなどを食べるかどうかの選択には個人差があるようです。
LDOCEにはveganの定義として “someone who does not eat any animal products at all, such as meat, fish, eggs, cheese, or milk” と述べられています。
