『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版、大修館書店）では「後鼻漏」とありました。
“post”と「鼻の」の“nasal”が組み合わさって出来ています。また、そこに鼻水が滴っていく様子から“drip”が用いられています。
よく言う「鼻水が出る」を「前鼻漏」ということに対し、喉の方へ鼻水がいってしまうことを「後鼻漏」といいます。
私たちが普段から気づかないうちに後鼻漏は起こっているそうでうすが、アレルギーや副鼻腔炎によるものは、吐き気や口臭といった違和感を感じるようです。
私も花粉症のため薬を服用していますが、外に出ると前鼻漏と後鼻漏が止まりません。(flyingbird)
