More than 250 types of canned goods line the wooden shelves behind the seats at Les Amis, a bar that opened at a multitenant building in the heart of Fukushima three years ago. Nothing but canned food, such as mackerel, tuna and snow crab, is served to accompany drinks. Owner Tokihiko Tanji, 56, is proud of his selection, saying, “We have so many kinds of canned goods, and they’re all delicious.”
