Prince leaves a £200million fortune but no heirs - so who will inherit his wealth?

The musician has also left a huge archive of unreleased material which could swell his estate further - and the Jehovah's Winesses could be the main beneficiaries.

Fans are rushing to buy Prince’s music, making the dead pop star’s estate millions on top of his already massive fortune.

The star, who died at his Paisley Park mansion in Minneapolis on Thursday, was worth an estimated £200million and with no children or wives, it is not clear who will inherit his fortune or the rights to his music.

One theory is that Prince, a Jehovah’s Witness, may have named the Christian movement in his will.

The tragic star also had a massive vault of more than 20,000 tracks which could be released at a later date, swelling the coffers even more.

Merriam-Webster.comには “a person, organization, etc., that receives money or property when someone dies” と定義されています。

(Cayu)
