"de-facto"を取り上げます。『ジーニアス英和辞典(大修館書店)』によるとラテン語で「(法律上はともかく)事実上存在する」という意味がありました。LDOCEでも"really existing although not legally stated to exist."と確認できました。de-factoに対してde-jureで「正当な、法律上の」という表現もありました。(lua)
