What better time, then, to install a "green curtain," and let a few vine-like plants begin creeping up your veranda? In fact, why not add some extra flair with unique species that are new to your neighborhood altogether?
Garden "curtains" -- renowned for being aesthetically pleasing, fun to pick fruits or vegetables from, and, well, green -- are normally associated with plants such as goya (bitter gourd), spaghetti squash, and morning glory. Last year, however, many creative gardeners around the country were busy planting new varieties of climbers altogether.
